Dale Isom – Elder

Dale is married to Michelle and has a son, Daniel and a daughter, Caitlin. His interests include reading, tennis, movies and shopping with Michelle.

Dale says: I am very thankful to be a part of the God-fearing, Christ-centered, life-changing, radical-loving body of Christ here in Wilkesboro. To borrow a line from a movie, “you complete me”. Thanks to all of the brothers and sisters for loving me – warts and all.

Dale’s favorite scripture is Phil 2:1-18

William Watkins – Elder

William is married to Bonnie and has twin daughters, Charity and Lee.

Williams says: I have been a member of the church in Wilkesboro for many years now, but still find myself amazed by the sincere love of the congregation for each other and by the countless acts of compassion and sacrifice expressed. I am blessed to serve a group of people who truly “love one another.”

His favorite scripture is the book of James.

Greg Brewer – Deacon

Greg is married to Lisa and has two sons, Zack and David. He is an attorney and likes snow skiing, scuba diving, paint ball, reading and good music. He is in charge of benevolence and is a lifetime resident of Wilkes county who enjoys Americana music, especially at Merlefest each year.

Some of Greg’s favorite scriptures are Matthew 7:7, 2 Timothy 3:16, Colossians 3:16, 1 Timothy 4:16, John 1:12, 1 Corinthians 4:6, and Matthew 16.

Brad Cole – Deacon

Brad is married to Becky and has a son, Jeff

Jason Gossett – Deacon

Jason is married to Beth and has two sons, Caleb and Aden. He enjoys watching old movies, mosaic tile work, sports, and renovation.

Jason’s favorite scripture is Galatians 2:20-21.

Billy Isom – Deacon

Bill is married to Thelma and has a daughter Gail, two sons, Dale and David and 7 grandchildren.  He enjoys golf, working in the yard and RV-ing through 48 states.  He was an engineer with NCDOT and retired after 36 years of service.  He has been retired for 17 years.  He also spent 3 years in military service.

Bill has many favorite verses but one that is special to him is John 3:16.
